WKYMVM-NH2 is a hexapeptide that activates neutrophils and myeloid cells by activating the FPRL1 and FPRL2 receptors. Its EC50 values in HL-60-FPRL1 and HL-60-FPRL2 cells are 2 nM and 80 nM, respectively. It induces chemotaxis in HL-60 cells that stably express FPRL2, with optimal migration occurring in the dose range of 10–50 nM. Furthermore, WKYMVM-NH2 induces superoxide production in neutrophils, with an EC50 of 75 nM. This compound is suitable for research on inflammation-related diseases.
