VSLRGDTRG is a synthetic peptide derived from the RGD motif of cadherin17 (CDH17) that binds to and activates the α2β1 integrin signaling pathway. Through this RGD motif, VSLRGDTRG promotes a high-affinity conformational change in β1 integrin, thereby enhancing cell adhesion and phosphorylation of FAK and ERK1/2, driving tumor proliferation and metastasis. VSLRGDTRG can be used to study cancers that highly express CDH17, such as colon cancer and pancreatic cancer.
