Trypsin Inhibitor Screening/Inhibitor Activity Assay Kit

Introduction: The detection of Trypsin Inhibitor (TPI) activity is applied in the food industry to determine the content of trypsin inhibitor in soybeans and soybean products, so as to evaluate the level of anti-nutritional factors and ensure food safety and quality. In the feed industry, it is used to regulate the inhibitor content in plant-based feeds, thereby improving feed utilization efficiency. In addition, in the field of pharmaceutical research and development, it can be adopted to screen protease inhibitor drugs and evaluate their IC?? values. It is also applicable to the determination of endogenous inhibitor content in plant samples in agricultural production, providing a basis for variety breeding and quality control. Principle: Trypsin hydrolyzes the chromogenic substrate BAPNA to produce yellow p-nitroaniline, which has an absorption peak at 405 nm. If inhibitors are present in the sample, the enzyme activity will be inhibited and the absorbance will decrease. The content or activity of inhibitors in the sample can be calculated comparatively by determining the residual enzyme activity.
