The core structure of the StaBright™ series fluorescent probes is AIE. The StaBright™ series fluorescent probes feature the following characteristics: 1. Aggregation-induced emission. StaBright™ fluorescent probes maintain a faint fluorescence signal in solution and cellular environments. Upon entering cells and binding to target structures, their fluorescence signal significantly intensifies. Consequently, during imaging, unbound fluorescent molecules in solution or cells can be disregarded. This allows direct imaging after staining, eliminating the need for multiple washes and significantly streamlining the imaging workflow. 2. Large Stokes shift. StaBright™ fluorescent probes greatly minimize signal crosstalk and self-quenching during fluorescence imaging, significantly enhancing image clarity and further improving imaging precision. 3. Exceptional optical stability. StaBright™ fluorescent probes maintain stable fluorescence signal output during prolonged cell imaging sessions, making them particularly suitable for long-term tracking and multi-scan fluorescence imaging experiments. 4. Strong anti-quenching capability. Compared to traditional fluorescent probes, StaBright™ probes effectively circumvent fluorescence quenching issues caused by excessive concentrations, offering greater competitiveness in high-concentration applications. The StaBright™-Mito Mitochondrial Detection Kit (Red) is primarily designed for live-cell mitochondrial-specific fluorescent staining. StaBright™-Mito Mitochondria (1000X) Red is an ionizable compound featuring a positively charged pyridinium salt structure. It exhibits excellent aggregation-induced emission (AIE) properties and can specifically label mitochondrial structures in various cell types. Due to changes in its aggregation state upon binding to mitochondria, while unbound fluorescent probes exhibit negligible signal emission. Consequently, imaging can proceed directly after cell incubation without additional washing steps. This kit is compatible with fluorescence microscopy, laser confocal microscopy, flow cytometry, and other fluorescence detection systems. This kit can also be used for staining mitochondria in fixed cells, though staining efficiency may be slightly reduced. This kit should not be used for staining followed by fixation.
