ST/5-HT ELISA Kit

Solarbio ELISA kit uses the quantitative competitive enzyme immunoassay (competitive ELISA) technique. An ST/5-HT antigen has been pre-coated onto a microplate; Add gradient-diluted standards and pre-diluted samples separately then add a biotin-conjugated antibody specific for ST/5-HT to allow competitive binding between soluble ST/5-HT in the samples/standards and the plate-coated ST/5-HT for the limited antibody binding sites. After washing away any unbound substances horseradish peroxidase (HRP)-conjugated Streptavidin is added to the wells. After extensive washing a tetramethyl-benzidine (TMB) reagent is added to the wells for signal development. A Solution containing sulfuric acid is used to stop color development. The color intensity inversely proportional to the concentration of ST/5-HT is then measurable at 450nm. You can calculate the concentration of ST/5-HT in the samples by comparing the O.D. of the samples to the standard curve.
