SHBG 141–161 is a GPRC6A receptor agonist that mimics the action of the endogenous agonist uncarboxylated osteocalcin. By binding to GPRC6A and promoting signal transduction, SHBG 141–161 increases the secretion of testosterone and insulin. Simultaneously, this compound affects signal transduction dynamics by binding to the outer cellular domain of GPRC6A, reducing its affinity for GDP proteins. SHBG 141–161 can be used to investigate the role of GPRC6A in energy metabolism and endocrine regulation.
