No asterisk activity was observed after 3 h incubation, but asterisk activity may appear after longer digestion;
Isoschistoses may have different sensitivities to different methylation modifications;
By constructing a pair of complementary oligonucleotides in the cleavage sequence, FokI can cleave between any two nucleotides;
Cleavage requires two or more recognition sites;
Asterisk activity may appear under conditions where glycerol concentration >5%;

QuickCut Fast Restriction Enzymes are a series of genetically engineered recombinant restriction enzymes suitable for rapid digestion of plasmid DNA, PCR products, genomic DNA and other DNA samples. All QuickCut Fast Restriction Enzymes show excellent activity in Reaction Buffer or Reaction Color Buffer, and can complete digestion within 5–15 minutes. Reaction Color Buffer contains red and yellow tracking dyes, allowing digested products to be directly used for gel electrophoresis. In a 1% agarose gel, the migration rate of the red dye in Reaction Color Buffer is close to that of a 2500 bp double-stranded DNA fragment; the migration rate of the yellow dye is close to that of a 10 bp double-stranded DNA fragment.
