QuickCut Restriction Enzymes are a series of genetically engineered fast-digesting restriction enzymes suitable for rapid digestion of plasmid DNA, PCR products, genomic DNA, and other DNA samples. All QuickCut Restriction Enzymes exhibit excellent activity in Reaction Buffer or Reaction Color Buffer, and can complete digestion within 5–15 minutes. The Reaction Color Buffer contains red and yellow tracking dyes, allowing the digested products to be directly used for gel electrophoresis. The migration rate of the red dye in the Reaction Color Buffer is close to that of a 2500 bp double-stranded DNA fragment on a 1% agarose gel; the migration rate of the yellow dye is close to that of a 10 bp double-stranded DNA fragment on a 1% agarose gel.
