All QuickCut rapid restriction endonucleases exhibit excellent activity in Reaction Buffer or Reaction Color Buffer, completing digestion within 5-15 minutes. Reaction Color Buffer includes red and yellow tracer dyes, allowing direct application of the products to gel electrophoresis. The red dye in Reaction Color Buffer shows a migration rate similar to that of a 2500bp double-stranded DNA fragment in a 1% agarose gel; the yellow dye shows a migration rate similar to that of a 10bp double-stranded DNA fragment in a 1% agarose gel.
