MSVP Serum-free Medium (with Phenol Red and L-glutamine)

MSVP serum-free medium is animal-free, protein-free, and contains plant protein hydrolysates, making it widely suitable for adherent culture of a variety of mammalian cells. There is no need to add additional protein components or pre-treat the surface of the culture vessel for use. MSVP serum-free medium is mainly used for virus amplification or vaccine production. Compared to traditional culture media, it has superior culture capabilities and minimizes the risk of introducing foreign viruses. Compared to other serum-free media, MSVP serum-free medium is characterized by its versatility, which can culture a wide variety of renal epithelial cell lines and increase the viral titer of proliferation. For example, MDCK, VERO, Marc 145, ST, PK-15, MDBK, HEp2, and BHK-21 can be cultured, as well as COS-7 and Hela cell lines. We recommend that 1-2% serum be added to cultured cells in addition to Vero cells without serum.
