Aliquoted organoid media should be stored at -20℃ for two years to avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. The thawed medium can be stored at 4℃ and is recommended to be used within two weeks. Organoid media contain bacterial and fungal antibiotics. The organoid medium should be thawed in a four-degree freezer, the thawed medium should be mixed upside down thoroughly, and the medium should be aliquoted in a sterile biosafety cabinet or clean bench, and 10ml aliquots are recommended. Store the aliquot medium at -20 ℃, take out the aliquot medium and thaw it before use. The self-renewing epithelial cells of the hepatobiliary duct are driven by the expansion of stem cells located in the liver and their progenitor cells. The epithelium of hepatobiliary organoids is characterized by real organs in terms of structure, cell type composition, and self-renewal dynamics. Hepatobiliary organoids can induce hepato-like cells in differentiation media, providing a model for the study of liver-like development and disease in mice.
