This assay employs the Indirect enzyme immunoassay technique. SARS-CoV-2 (2019-nCoV) Spike protein has been pre-coated onto a microplate. Pre-diluted samples to be detected are added for incubation, and the anti-SARS-CoV-2 Spike protein antibodies in the samples will fully bind to the proteins on the enzyme plate; Following a wash to remove any unbound samples, and enzyme conjugate is added to the wells. Followed by tetramethyl-benzidine (TMB) reagent, solution containing sulfuric acid is used to stop color development and the color intensity which is proportional to the quantity of bound protein is measurable at 450nm.
