Test principle: Yeast extract powder， peptone， and beef hear infusion provide carbon and nitrogen source essential for microbial growth; Sodium chloride maintains balanced osmotic pressure; Mannitol is fermentable sugar utilized by Salmonella to produce acids; The decarboxylase produced by Salmonella reacts with L-lysine hydrochloride to form an alkaline substance; under alkaline conditions， sodium thiosulfate and ferric ammonium citrate react with hydrogen sulfide produced by Salmonella， causing the colonies to appear black; Brilliant Green and Crystal Violet inhibit the growth of Gram-positive bacteria such as Escherichia coli; agar serves as a gelling agent. Instructions: Weigh 49. 0g of this product， heat to boil and dissolve into 1000ml distilled water， cool to 50-55℃ and pour into sterile plate， set aside. Note: autoclave sterilization is not required.
