Maximin 78 is a peptide compound with broad-spectrum antibacterial properties. This compound exhibits significant antibacterial activity against *C. albicans*, *S. aureus*, and *B. subtilis*, with minimum inhibitory concentrations (MICs) of 37.5, 4.7, and 37.5 μg/mL, respectively. Furthermore, Maximin 78 shows hemolytic activity against human and rabbit erythrocytes.
