Product Description: Matrigel (phenol-free red) is a basement membrane matrix isolated from EHS mouse tumors rich in extracellular matrix proteins. The main components of matrigel are laminin, type IV collagen, nestin, heparin sulfate glycoprotein, growth factors and matrix metalloproteinases. At room temperature, the Matrigel (phenol red free) substrate polymerized to form a biologically active three-dimensional matrix, simulating the structure, composition, physical properties and functions of the basement membrane of cells in vivo, which is conducive to the culture and differentiation of cells in vitro, as well as the study of cell morphology, biochemical function, migration, infection and gene expression.
