LVTX-8 is a peptide toxin extracted from Lycosa vittata. This compound exhibits potent anticancer and anti-metastatic activity against lung cancer and significant cytotoxicity. Through the p53 hypoxia pathway and integrin signaling, LVTX-8 effectively induces apoptosis while inhibiting the proliferation, invasion, and migration of lung cancer cells. In the A549/H460 xenograft mouse model, LVTX-8 significantly inhibited tumor growth and metastasis.
