Endothelial cells，including human umbilical vein endothelial cells，human pulmonary artery endothelial cells，and rat pulmonary artery endothelial cells，are notoriously difficult to transfect. Not only are endothelial cells highly sensitive to the toxicity of transfection reagents，but they also exhibit low membrane permeability. Conventional transfection reagents not only struggle to deliver exogenous nucleic acid fragments like DNA，siRNA，and mRNA into endothelial cells but also cause significant cell death in cultured endothelial cells. Huvec exhibits exceptional plasmid DNA transfection efficiency，enabling high-efficiency transfection of human umbilical vein endothelial cells，pulmonary artery endothelial cells，and others，with transfection positivity rates reaching approximately 70% in Huvec. More notably，Huvec utilizes a biodegradable biomaterial，completely overcoming the high cytotoxicity drawback of conventional transfection reagents. It exhibits extremely low cytotoxicity，with endothelial cell mortality after transfection being only about 10%. This reagent is designed solely for plasmid DNA transfection.
