Composition (g/L): Proteose peptone 10 Beef brain infusion powder 10 Beef heart infusion powder 9. 0 Sodium chloride 5. 0 Glucose 2. 0 Disodium hydrogen phosphate 2. 5 pH 7. 4±0. 2 at 25°C Instructions for Use Weigh 3. 85 g of the product, dissolve by heating and stirring in 93 mL of distilled water, autoclave at 121°C for 15 minutes, cool to 50-55°C, add 7 mL of sterile defibrinated sheep blood and one vial of helicobacter pylori additive, mix thoroughly, divide into portions, and set aside for later use. Note: Helicobacter pylori additive contains 1 mg nalidixic acid, 0. 5 mg TMP, 0. 3 mg vancomycin, and 0. 2 mg amphotericin B.
