Gelatin Methacryloly, GelMA-60

GelMA is an olefin double bond modified gelatin, a photosensitive biohydrogel with excellent biocompatibility. It can be rapidly cured under UV and visible light by photoinitiators to form a three-dimensional structure suitable for cell growth with strength, which is widely used in tissue engineering, regenerative medicine and other fields. Note: The 30%, 60%, and 90% in the names refer to the degree of methacrylation of the amino groups in gelatin molecules (i. e. , the degree of substitution). The higher the degree of substitution, the faster the photocuring speed, the stronger the gel hardness, and the slower the degradation rate will be. In general applications, for bone and cartilage repair, the 90% degree of substitution can be prioritized; for flexible cell encapsulation or angiogenesis, products with a degree of substitution of 30% to 60% can be tried, as they can provide a softer microenvironment.
