FFPE DNA/RNA Co-extraction Kit (Binding and Sorting)

This product is specially designed for the simultaneous extraction of RNA and DNA from formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissue samples. This kit enables the extraction of both RNA and DNA from a single FFPE tissue section sample. This kit adopts silica column purification technology. Neither toxic phenol-chloroform extraction nor time-consuming alcohol precipitation is required. The entire extraction procedure takes only 30 minutes (digestion time excluded). The purified RNA can be directly applied to experiments such as RT-PCR, Northern blot, nucleic acid protection assay and in vitro translation. The purified DNA can be directly used for experiments including PCR and Southern blot. Product Advantages: Post-digestion separation: The operation is simple. After tissue digestion, DNA is adsorbed via high-salt mediation. Add ethanol to the filtrate and load it onto the column to adsorb RNA. Thorough Separation: The samples are fully digested to completely release DNA and RNA, achieving higher yields of both nucleic acids. High Throughput for Sections: With extended digestion, the kit can process 3 to 8 tissue sections.
