ddNTP lacks the 3’-hydroxyl (-OH) group on the ribose moiety. After being incorporated into the nascent DNA strand by DNA polymerase， it halts chain elongation immediately， which is the core mechanism underlying Sanger dideoxy chain-termination sequencing. This product consists of four dideoxynucleoside triphosphates: ddATP， ddCTP， ddGTP and ddTTP， each at 10 mM. The four components are available individually or pre-mixed as requested. Applications: Sanger sequencing， genotyping， primer extension assay， etc.
