Corticosterone ELISA Kit

Solarbio ELISA kit uses the quantitative competitive enzyme immunoassay (competitive ELISA) technique. An human Corticosterone antigen has been pre-coated onto a microplate; Add gradient-diluted standards and pre-diluted samples separately, then add a biotin-conjugated antibody specific for human Corticosterone to allow competitive binding between soluble human Corticosterone in the samples/standards and the plate-coated human Corticosterone for the limited antibody binding sites. After washing away any unbound substances, horseradish peroxidase (HRP)-conjugated Streptavidin is added to the wells. After extensive washing, a tetramethyl-benzidine (TMB) reagent is added to the wells for signal development. A Solution containing sulfuric acid is used to stop color development. The color intensity, inversely proportional to the concentration of human Corticosterone, is then measurable at 450nm. You can calculate the concentration of human Corticosterone in the samples by comparing the O.D. of the samples to the standard curve.
