Chromogenic End_point TAL assay is a fast rneasurement for endotoxin quantincation. The endotoxin in the sample actiVates a cascade of enzymes in TAL,the activated enzyme sρlits the synthetlc substrate, reIeasing a yellow_colored ρroduct with rnaxirnum absorbance at 405nm. The yellow product can further react with diazo reagents forming purple product with maximum absorbance at 545nm. The absorbances of both yellow product and purple product are proportional to endotoXin levels,thereforeendotoxin is quantified. A regular spectrophotometer or plate reader is required for  the assay.
