BMP-4 is a heparin-binding peptide with anti-inflammatory and anti-chondrogenic properties. In mouse chondrocyte and macrophage experiments, this compound effectively inhibited inflammation and alleviated various arthritis symptoms by regulating the iNOS-IFN-IL6 signaling pathway and reducing the expression of inflammatory proteins such as iNOS, COX2, IFN, and IL6 in a dose-dependent manner.
