Azurin p28 peptide TFA is an anticancer peptide with tumor-penetrating capabilities. It reduces p53 proteasomal degradation by forming a p28:p53 complex. Azurin p28 peptide TFA can induce apoptosis or cause cell cycle arrest, thereby inhibiting the growth of p53-positive tumors. Furthermore, it exhibits anti-angiogenic properties by inhibiting VEGFR-2, FAK, and Akt phosphorylation.
