ATRkinase substrate peptide (compound 45) is a highly potent and selective inhibitor of ATR protein kinase (Ki = 6 nM). It inhibits ATR activity by competing with the ATP-binding site of ATR kinase, thereby blocking ATR-mediated signal transduction. ATRkinase substrate peptide can be used to study the role of ATR kinase in DNA damage responses.
