Abscisic acid (ABA), also known as abscisin II or dormin, is a naturally occurring plant hormone and growth regulator that participates in a variety of physiological responses in the body, including stimulating stomatal closure (water stress accelerates ABA synthesis); inhibiting seedling growth; inducing the synthesis of storage proteins in seeds; inhibiting the function of gibberellins to induce the de novo synthesis of α-amylase; affecting the occurrence and maintenance of seed dormancy; inducing the occurrence of gene transcription related to wound healing, especially the expression of protease inhibitors, which explains its important role in pathogen defense. In general, abscisic acid is a regulator used to control the adaptive response of plants to various external stimuli. This product is purified dextrorotatory abscisic acid ((+)-Abscisic Acid, or S-Abscisic Acid), which is a naturally occurring and active isomer. It is suitable for plant tissue culture, with an effective working concentration of 0. 1~10 mg/L.
