The A17 peptide is an Hsp70-targeting peptide that binds to the ATP-binding domain of Hsp70. It specifically inhibits molecular chaperone activity, increasing the sensitivity of cells to chemotherapeutic drugs (such as Cisplatin)-induced apoptosis. The A17 peptide can be used in anticancer chemotherapy research, such as in multiple myeloma.
