β-Glucan is a type of polysaccharide compound. β-Glucan is a polysaccharide that is linked together by β-glycosidic bonds with D-glucose monomers. It is a type of dietary fiber found in grains， yeast， mushrooms， some bacteria， and seaweed. The β-Glucan in mushrooms is composed of β-(1，3) and (1，6) bonds. Many studies have shown that mushroom β-Glucan is an effective anti-tumor defense and immune system enhancer.
